You must have detected from the regular applause you received during our dinner last Saturday, that our guests thoroughly appreciated your performance. Dear Steve,

I would be grateful if you would convey my thanks to Adam and Andrew for helping to make our Boar’s Head Feast such a success last week. Despite this being the first occasion they have played at this particular event they quickly got into the part and helped the evening to go with a flourish. The pageant itself went off perfectly and was greatly enhanced by the fanfares that they had chosen to play.

Perhaps you would be kind enough to pencil ****** in your diary, which is the day on which the feast is scheduled to take place next year.
