Wedding ceremony and reception

Musicians provided:

Palm Court Trio

Venue:

Manor of Groves Golf Club, Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire
Review:

We had the Palm Court Trio for our wedding in August 2005. The Trio were fantastic and we are still receiving compliments a month afterwards! Leading up to the wedding day, you were professional and the flexibility and good humour you showed was much appreciated, during which is a stressful time for us brides! During the day, the music was a fabulous mixture of classical and modern arrangements. The trumpet entrance to the reception was excellent and definitely one to remember.

Thank you for helping to make our day so wonderful.

Steve,

We were completely ‘blown away’ by your trumpet playing at our wedding last Sunday! You were AMAZING! You were so great to work with and your help with the piano + arranging music for the musicians at the wedding was above and beyond! You are such a professional. We got compliments on your music throughout the entire evening.

Thank you for all the little ‘extras’ you gave us. We cannot thank you enough.

Hi Steve

How nice of you to send a msg!

Yes Adam 'did the business' as you said extremely well. Emma Cooke, the director of music for St. Stephen Walbrook was most impressed that he had written his own descant for one of the hymns.

Everyone said how marvelous the music was, and Adam contributed to it hugely. Now I regret not having a recording of the service - it was wonderful.

Although I am probably the last of my friends to get married, I shall certainly be recommending your service should anyone ask.

Hope you are well and enjoying the summer!

With v kind rgds and thanks

Lida

Dear Steve,

Just a quick note to say "Thanks" for organising such a fantastic trumpeter for our wedding. We were both delighted with his performance and he helped to make the service really special. The sound was fabulous and it has also come out really well on our video. We had a perfect day and the music definitely added a special touch. Just wanted to let you know and I didn't have chance to thank the trumpeter and organist personally so could you please pass on our thanks.
I will definitely recommend you to future brides-to-be!!!

Thanks again,

Rowena

Many many thanks for superb music at our daughter's wedding, real tear jerking music and especially when you played the post horn and please thank every one of the group. All the guests said you were all brilliant and never heard anything like this at a wedding.

We thank our lucky stars that you were at the hotel last year when we came and visited the hotel with a view to booking the wedding.

Best wishes,

Judy and Michael

Review:

Dear Steven,

Thank you all so much for having made the effort to come to Tenterden last Friday evening and for having contributed to such an enjoyable event.

Very many complimentary words and appreciation of the entertainment you gave us have been received and all concerned have commented on the ‘fun’ of the evening. The humorous introductions you made to the programme were also much appreciated and contributed to the relaxed atmosphere of the occasion. You certainly did not give the impression of being a timid public speaker!

From my point of view, the decision to invite a group of professional musicians to come to our first ever ‘musical evening’ was amply justified and you have set me a very high standard to follow!

Once again, thank you all and please pass my appreciation to your three colleagues - You made an excellent ensemble(s)!

Best wishes,

Digby

Fanfare Trumpeters

Venue:

Mansion House, City of London
Review:

Dear Mr Fletcher,

Thank you so much for providing two such excellent trumpeters for our Banquet yesterday at the Mansion House. They know themselves how much they were enjoyed and appreciated because of the spontaneous outburst for an encore of the Posthorn Gallop. They perfectly complimented the Egyptian Hall and the rousing and festive occasion.

We do hope that your musicians enjoyed the evening as much as the audience did! Thank you again.

Yours Sincerely,

Mrs E Burke

Dear Steven

Many thanks to you and all your colleagues for enhancing out Dinner at Mansion House last Friday. Your presence and musical skills add so much to the entire proceedings and is greatly appreciated by us all.

I am glad to learn that you are busy and, for obvious reasons, your reputation is growing.

I am applying for the Banquet date for 2006 and I hope that you will be available again next year.

All best wishes

Birthday Party

Musicians provided:

Fanfare Trumpeters

Venue:

Harpenden Golf Club, Hertfordshire
Review:

The scene was that of a grand candlelit room in the Golf Club with lights dimmed. Everything was set for the secret surprise party for my wife. The moment she entered the room, peering into its twinkling darkness a fanfare of trumpets from The London Banqueting Ensembles greeted her arrival followed by applause and the age old sound of “Happy Birthday”.

From that moment the party took off - with fanfares for the toasts and fanfares for the speeches - each one different and uplifting keeping the party in an excited and buzzy mood until midnight. It just could not go wrong.

It’s the best party ever held here - was the verdict. Not bad for a club founded in 1849 and with over 800 members.

Thank you Steve, it was you and your colleagues’ contribution that launched it, made it and needless to say we all loved it.

Best regards,

Douglas
