Hi Steve

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the other members of the quartet for playing so wonderfully at our Wedding. It truly was a magical day and I'm just sorry that I didn't get to hear more of you! Walking down the aisle to Christina Perri's ‘A Thousand Years’ had me and many of my guests in tears - it was so incredibly beautiful and just made the ceremony perfect. Our Vicar too was absolutely delighted and even asked where I had found you!

It was a real joy to have you play at our drinks reception afterwards too. I know I said this when I booked you but I think you have the most amazing modern repertoire - there really is something for everyone and all our guests commented on how lovely it was; even our neighbours (who weren't guests at the Wedding) said to my mum afterwards that it was a real treat to sit in their garden on a Saturday afternoon and be serenaded by a string quartet!

I'm sorry that I didn't see much of you on the day but I do really appreciate the time you took to run through everything with me beforehand to ensure that it all ran smoothly. Your experience and expertise really shone through. I hope you were well looked after and managed to enjoy some of the day too. I really would love to find any excuse to book you again!

All the best,

Laura

Steve

First, many apologies for the delay in getting this note to you.

I just wanted to write to say a HUGE thank you to you and the other members of the band for coming to play at our wedding.

You were quite simply amazing and added a very special touch to our day which we will remember forever. The hymns would never have been the same without you in the background and walking down the aisle to the Radetzky March was absolutely wonderful.

On top of all that, the music during the reception, but most of all the Post Horn Gallop were brilliant. We have been inundated with comments from friends and family about how marvelous, fun and unique that part of the evening was.

Thank you very much again for everything that you did and for coming all that way. No doubt see you at Saddlers' Hall soon - possibly at the Midsummer Dinner tomorrow.

Best Regards

Archie

Steve,

Many thanks for enhancing Lucy and Tom's wedding with the wonderful sounds of the Capital String Quartet.

I have been inundated with praiseworthy comments from so many guests, in particular, the entrance of the bride accompanied by your trumpet on both occasions.

Your chosen music selection was perfect, and suited all tastes.  I know this to be true, as I heard on numerous occasions, that the quartet had ' just played my favorite tune'.

Once again, many thanks for such a superb performance and helping to make Lucy and Tom's day so very special.

Regards,

John

Before we headed off on honeymoon, I just wanted to say a quick thanks to you and the musicians. Was absolutely sensational, and couldn't have hoped for more. It really sounded wonderful, and everyone has commented how great it was.

Really appreciated how professional and slick you were, and for all the help beforehand getting things just right. It certainly paid off, even with the priest re-ordering the service!

Let me know if you would like any reviews or endorsements and would be happy to share the video or photos when I'm back from honeymoon.

All the best, and thanks again,

Jeff and Fabi

Hi Steve,

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and your fellow string players for the beautiful music you played on our wedding day. I loved the processional piece and was so pleased with how it sounded and I ensured I listened to it and took the time to walk slowly in!

Thank you for all the music and for adding to our very special day. We were so happy with how it went.

Thanks again,

Helen & Ian

Good morning,

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you all for everything that you did to make last night such a success.

The band were on tremendous form and the rendition of the Post Horn Gallop was much enjoyed by everyone as was the Hornpipe. Sir David was much amused by the clapping to that and enjoyed joining in although he did say he hadn't known it to have happened at Mansion House before.   There were again many comments made as to the music that was played and how people felt that the choice of music was just right and I know that everyone in the Band went to great trouble to prepare some of the music and that was so much appreciated by us all.

I know that it wasn't the easiest of times for Steven Fletcher, with the death of his Father a few days ago and I send to you Steven my sincere condolences.

Well we set out to up the standards of our banquet and there can in my mind be no doubt that we did just that. We got one hundred more people than last year and hopefully they all had such a good time they will come again next year.   I can honestly say that the evening went like clock work and there was nothing that anyone could complain about!

So thank you for your hard work and with team effort it was an evening to remember.

Kind regards

Guy

Hi Steve

Just to say a huge thank you, to you all for the wonderful music you played at my birthday party, last Saturday. Your contribution made the occasion very special for me. Everybody was talking about the music, and the fact it was lovely to have such good music playing, but they could still chat to each other as well. Some guests of course, remembered you from the wedding and were delighted to see you there.

I shall look forward to the next occasion when I can use you again.

Please pass on my thanks to the two girls too, you all made it very special for me, and it is greatly appreciated.

Kind regards

Annette

Steve

It's nearly a fortnight since your orchestra played at my wife's birthday party in Cobham.  However, yesterday was the first day following the event when neither Maggie nor I received some sort of compliment about your contribution to the occasion.  All in all, there has been a steady flow of compliments, the gust of which was that, in every respect, you pitched things just right.  I know Maggie in particular was very happy.

Please share our thanks with your friends and with a particular word of thanks to your trumpeting ‘rival’ from the post horn gallop.  None of us, I think, had appreciated just how much of a production number that was to be.

I trust that, on the night, you did get enough in the way of food and drink.  I suspect that, behind the scenes, there needed to be a bit of smoothing of things that should not have been necessary and I would wish to offer apologies for that; it certainly should not have been the case.

At the moment, I have no anticipation of another function but I suspect that the hotel will not lose you off their radar - I hope that's OK by you.

In the meantime, a very sincere thanks again to all of you and yourself in particular for making it so easy to get everything arranged.

Regards

Peter
